Deep Contrast {Crag}

[Kurl]

Let's just say not even a few day's have passed. Kurl was licking out the marrow of a deer bone. Then to his satisfaction, the white wolf did indeed die. A big fall to the convictions of Lobo. But he only wandered out into the free lands like he usually did and somehow expected company that day. However, Kurl wouldn't mind the challenge of the puny cur, because at the moment, everything just felt too easy and as if there was, infact, no one to fight. They needed actions somehow. He scented it before he came, and Kurls face was still like a stone wall. Bored. "Yes?" Kurl was prepared to do anything at will, but maybe, just maybe get a tad bit agressive; not like that's too convincing.

[Crag]

He stood in front of the large black wolf, the wind rippling his hair causing it to shimmer blue in some areas. He tried to appear confident, but wasn't doing a good job. "Please Lobo," he whispered to no one in particular, "If I die remember me and spread the truth." He growled at Kurl. "I've made my decision, Kurl." He stared the wolf in the eyes. "I will not join you. Lobo is my friend and I trust him... Even if he is a little, well, crazy. I have made a vow to keep you wolves from bringing back Fenris, or die trying. And on top of all that you're a liar and not worthy to be trusted I wouldn't even spit in your direction." And with that he turned his head to the side and spat on the ground before glaring back at the wolf.

(O.O.C. I'm pretty sure wolves don't spit, but I'm also fairly certain they don't talk either.)

[Kurl]

Kurl didn't even look up at the black wolf, he just kept licking out the marrow. "I wouldn't want you to spit in my direction anyways.." He said calmly before looking up, his gaze still almost as if it were ignoring Crag,plus what do you have to proove that I am a liar? Much less that Fernis is a bad thing." Kurl grumbled in his throat and stood up, showing just how large he was, and then before Crag could even reply Kurl cut off everything, "--Nothing! That's right. And if you call my kin or myself unworthy again, this gets quite personal. For we are just doing the simple innocent thing and makng a pack of our own, tell me how this affects you in a life or death matter, eh?" Kurl's face remained impassive, but his voice and eyes were quite hard as he looked Crag strait in the eyes.

[Crag]

Crag began to feel less confident. He listened as Kurl stated: For we are just doing the simple innocent thing and making a pack of our own, tell me how this affects you in a life or death matter, eh? He growled and spit at him. "Fenris killed many wolves. So I'm sure you wouldn't hesitate. In fact I'm sure you're trying desperately not to attack me... And I don't have a problem with that..." He glared at him. "It's true that I have no way to prove that you're a liar. Oh and for the record you're all unworthy."

[Kurl]

Kurl responded, "Well since you're unwilling to change your mind, there wouldn't be a point in not attacking you. Infact. I think it would save me the trouble in the future." Yes, his tone was still the same, but a smile grew on his face, and his yellow eyes blazed like suns, "Killing is a natural thing, Crag. Infact. You know, I think it would save you the trouble to be killed swiftly by mysself then by that cur, Lobo." Kurl slowly stalked up and advanced on Crag. Giving him a chance to run, or simply not. "But that would be no fun, now would it? Haven't you heard. Lobo convinced that white wolf to kill herself, now that my friend, I swear is not a lie." His eyes laughed as he breathed a heavy, musky breath on Crag, about to bare his fangs.

[Crag]

Crag stood his ground gagging on the wolfs breath. He growled. The little well of courage that was in his heart... Well, it just went dry. His eyes go wide in terror and he turns to flee. "No" he says to himself. He thinks, I will not let him have the satisfaction of chasing me like I'm some sort of rabbit. He growled at himself. He hated it when wolves compare him to rabbits and he just compared himself to one. "I will fight you Kurl! I made a vow and I plan to honor it!" He snarled the most vicious snarl he could muster... It was the most pitiful thing a wolf could imagine.

[Kurl]

Kurl could see it on Crag's face, and his courage draining out of him like a river, "Are you sure about that?" Kurl made a smirkish growl and inclined his head closer to Crag, "Give me one good reason why you should waist my times any longer." His eyes went even colder(if that is possible) He opened his jaws showing his fang, shapened by rocks. There hadn't been to many wolves in this world that got the pleasure of seeing Kurl's fangs, but Crag had managed that just well, "Are you sure your useless bravery is able to whithstand? Go, go ahead and tell your little friends about us, but might I warn you. They never act to pleased to see loners-- Infact you can be my puny little messanger. Go...Go tell them now! We are ready to begin this, and end it once and for all." Even though these words would more likley be yelled than spoken. Kurl's strong selfcontrol held back his loud voice and instead made his words sliver with darkness.

[Crag]

He felt his courage returning... Until he saw Kurls teeth. His eyes went wider than would seem possible. He just plain stopped breathing. He was about to pass out. He felt his eyes rolling upwards. He finally recovered and took a large breath. He held it. He eventually let it out in his loudest possible howl in Kurls ear and bolted away as fast as he could. He turned his head to shout one last comment, "None of you are worthy to be trusted!"

Kurl was about to laugh as the young wolf's eyes widen like mushrooms and his breathing stop just all together. But then, he felt this loud burst of noise, causing his to squint his eyes and curse under his own breath. And Crag scampered off and left Kirl with his ears ringing. Though, somewhere Kurl felt satisfaction. Well, you seem to still hold your ol' spunk, eh Kurl? He thought to himself with a smirk on his face, and yelled after Crag, "And I would care why!?" Kurl spoke just loud enough, and looked down at his deer bone and decided to go back and lick out his marrow.
