Ruedi padded into the Dagwood Forest of the Shinook territory, his ears erect, listening for any sound of the herd that the fae had spoken about, and keeping his pale blue eyes on the look out. As the male walked further into the forest, he also glimpsed around, watching as the birds chirped and nipped at their feathers to clean. He inhaled the rich scent of early spring and exhaled with a smile. How peaceful it was to be there at that moment. Heck, he'd give anything for it to rain right now.
It didn't take him long for his body to tense up and a more serious look had reached his face. All that was on Ruedi's mind was "bring back something good and you will have a place in this pack." The words echoed in his head, making him bound and determined to catch something worth while.
"Okay, now all I have to do is find this herd and catch something that will earn me my place," he muttered to himself as he kept on walking forth, trying not to stir the herd that might've been a couple of meters away. He sniffed the air trying to catch the scents of the prey, but there was nothing. Losing hope the male sat and flattened his ears on his head and looked down. Boy, this is harder than I expected... he thought. Suddenly a snap was heard a couple meters away, and Ruedi's body just about jumped when he heard it.
Up head was the herd that the female had been speaking had told him about. His heart started racing and his tail slightly wagged. His time was near. Now he could join a new pack! But that was if he caught something. A smile slipped on to his face as he crouched down, his ears also flattening once more onto his head. As Ruedi had gotten closer, the more serious he had gotten. He could now taste the blood that was going to stain his fangs. He could taste the meat that was soon fill his belly, and soon...he will be in a pack. The kept his eyes pierced onto a foe that had its face near the ground, eating.
Faster and faster Ruedi had approached, basically crawling until a loud snarl had ubrupted from the bottom of his throat. He leaped and sanks his fangs into the doe's rump, as the others had tried to run for their lives.
"I got you now!" he cackled, but the doe had kicked him off and with yelp, Ruedi hit the ground, but was back on his paws, and he was back after it. He was not going to ruin his chance.

A dash of red fur whizzed past the wolf as he continued his chase, though the little being was faster because of his small size. As he approached the doe, swiveling in front of the animal quickly, the Ethiopian began to bark, causing the creature to rear back and back away from the small wolfen. The wolf's small black eyes flashed to the male that was in pursuit behind and Kaan kept herding the deer backwards. His tiny body was jumping from place to place, confusing the cow, and not allowing her to move around him. It was a perfect set up, and Kaan just waited for the other to pounce and kill. (Eh, really short. I just didn't know what else to do for this part. I will post bigger next time.)

Suddenly to Ruedi's surprise,he seen a flash of red fly past him. Another wolf was helping him? He didn't believe it. It kind of upset him, the fact that HE was supposed to bring back something on his own, but on the other had, he appreciated it. His never hunted before, and this would be the only time. What would the femme know anyway? He ran, watching as the ethopian wolf barked, and jumping back and forth, scaring the deer, and making it back up towards him. He skidded to the a stop, seeing the small wolf's dark eyes flash at him. It must of been a que for him to prepare to attack. He flashed his fangs, let out a snarl and jumped, aiming for the doe's neck. Quickly the males canines sunk into the back of his prey's neck and as they did, Ruedi had tackled the animal to the ground. His muzzle was curled up, and he shook his head, trying to make the kill faster.Soon the life had faded from the doe, and the male had let go of the neck, his fangs now stained with blood. Ruedi licked his maw and now glanced up at the Ethiopian.
"Thanks, I appreciate it," Ruedi smiled at the other male. He kind of felt pathetic after having the help though. After all, he was supposed to do it on his own.

"Thanks, I appreciate it,"
Kaan watched as the wolf lifted himself from the carcass, licking his chops clean. The small animal was silent and impassive for a moment, before his tiny muzzle broke out in a huge, toothy grin.
"Oh, yes, yes. It was his pleasure..." His eyes narrowed and he tilted his head to the side, inspecting the brute. "Kaan has never seen this wolf before. Is he new?" The wolf spoke in an alien tongue that the Ardalyn wolves were certainly not used to, though to himself he seemed to be speaking the right way when the others were wrong. Kaan suspected he was a newcomer, since he knew all that inhabited the lands, and usually any other wolf could take down a doe easily by himself. Not Kaan of course, because of his size, but the other wolves. The giant ones.
Though the small Ethiopian had come to Shinook territory for a reason, even though he belonged to another pack. Though for some odd reason, the wolf was not afraid of the intense she-wolf Alpha.
"Kaan, he is. But who is the wolf in front of him?"

Ruedi looked at the toothy grin on the Ethiopians face. Not only was he confused with this, but with how he spoke. He's never heard any one speak like that. "Kaan, he is but who is the wolf in front of him?" Ruedi heard the wolf ask. He sat, his light eyes staring into the beady eyes of the other male.
"Oh, me? My name's Ruedi, yes, I am new, I come from another pack," Ruedi replied standing back up. He could never really make up his mind about sitting or standing, as long as he felt comfortable. He gave a sigh and looked down at his kill. It didn't seem fair that he was taking this kill back, but not offering Kaan any, since he had helped. He grinned and glanced at Kaan.
"Would you like to take the leg, or something? I can't take this all for myself..." He had asked the Ethiopian. He wouldn't let the wolf go empty handed. He did help him make the kill after all.
((I don't have enough muze today, lol)).

"Oh, me? My name's Ruedi, yes, I am new, I come from another pack," The Ethiopian's eyes flashed with inspiration as Ruedi spoke. Kaan had been sent here to recruit and twist the minds of the locals, but this was even better. The wolf had no idea about the war that was about to spill over the land. His ignorance would work in the small wolf's favor.
"Hmm...." he muttered. "Ruedi. Kaan likes it," he finished with an innocent smile, perking up his large ears to make him look even cuter and unguarded. He stood up, walked over to the wolf, sniffed him for a few moments, and then sat down a few pawsteps away.
"Would you like to take the leg, or something? I can't take this all for myself..." Ruedi offered, but Kaan dismissed his kindness with a wave of his tail.
"Oh, no. Kaan does not need food. His masters take very good care of him." The red creature tilted his head to the side in curiosity. "Why is Ruedi hunting this deer by himself?" he questioned, his black eyes probing his face. His exterior showed no sign of aggression or falseness, but if the wolf tried hard, he could probably detect the small sign of madness in the dark depths of Kaan's orbs. He smiled, showing every one of his small, but sharp, teeth.

Ruedi chuckled as Kaan had given him an innocent smile, but there was more to this wolf. Normally if a stranger wolf was in a pack, they'd do anything to protect their territory or alpha, but Ruedi could not assume that Kaan was in one. He also tilted his head when Kaan had told him that his masters supposively takes good care of him. Master? Ruedi thought as he lowered his body to lay down and rested his head onto their kill.
"Why is Ruedi hunting this deer by himself?"
Ruedi gave the small wolf a smile as he replied, "I made deal with the black femme alpha, that if I could catch something worth while, I could join her pack!" He swiveled his poofy tail back and forth as he watched Kaan gave his toothy grin. His tail stopped wagging as he looked more at the ethiopian. The small male acted so strange, but he seemed so innocent.
The males blue eyes looked up as the spring sunlight had shined through trees as the fresh wind blew. It was beautiful, the first few days of spring. The green was coming back and the leaves were sprouting out from the branches and the flowers were budding. It seemed peaceful, but Ruedi was unaware of the madness that lay up head.
