Takar looked at each wolf that Desmin introduced. They were all key players in this alpha's plot, and Takar saw them all as future rivals for his so called "Promised" seat in the pack. Takar twitched his ears though when Desmin finished introducing the wolves. When Takar had walked in, he had acutely smelt one more wolf. The scent had been powerful, and rained supreme even over Desmin's own scent. Takars eyes sought out into the darkness of the cavern looking for the one left unnamed. Takar didn't want to draw attension to the fact that he knew Desmin had left one out, so he quietly gave up his search and turned his attension back to the alpha male.
So they wanted him as an asset in their pack. Takar couldn't blame him. He might be too full of himself, but he knew that his strength would be valuable to them. Takar's eyes penetrated Desmin's. "I will accept your offer on one term." Takar said, leaving no question he would easily turn it down if his demand wasn't granted. "No one but me is allowed to touch Tarak. I will deal with him in my own way, stay out of it. I don't need this packs help to deal with him."

Desmin smiled, showing off everyone of his dagger-sharp teeth. He chuckled. "You have yourself a deal," and then the wolf pondered for a moment. "But, we also need something from you. A deed must be done to earn our trust." Blunt snickered to himself once again, and his blue eyes flashed with wickedness. Kurl stayed expressionless, though he would much rather like to do the dirty deed himself.
"You must-"
"Kill someone from Lakota." The three wolves quickly turned to the back of the cave, eyes trained on the wolf that had spoken. It was a female, black as night and eyes of sapphire. Her face held a stony expression, and the other wolves seemed to shrink at the sight. The Fae was certainly top dog.
"But-" Desmin started, only to be interrupted.
"Do not speak my name, Desmin. We cannot trust Takar yet." The 'Alpha' male nodded, his ears lowered slightly at the intensity of the wolf's voice. The Fae looked back to Takar, with an expression that even the kerl had to be slightly uncomfortable from. "You have already killed from Amithyst, and you plan to kill a Shinook, so now you must attack one from the remaining pack."
"Make it be one of the females..." Blunt purred, smiling at the thought. Blunt was the most bloodthirsty of the bunch.
"It does not matter which," said the Fae, "but it must be done." Her eyes locked with Takar's for a moment, before she looked up to the small crack in the ceiling where topaz sunlight leaked through. "Return to this cavern once you are finished, with the blood of your victim still fresh on your jaws."

Takar looked to the back of the cavern when the female spoke. Her eyes where sapphire and held the most authority over the others. So this is the puppet master... Their eyes locked together for a brief moment, and Takar could feel her intensity, but she looked away first. "So I must kill from Lakota...." Hmm.... Takar paused when they said he had already killed from Amithyst. "Ahh... so that fea was from Amithyst... interesting." Takar smiled a big grin remembering the details of the blood bath. "Now that was a good one. Hopefully Lakota will prove to be more of a challenge." He said nonchalant, like it was just another thing for him to do. "I will return soon, the with deeds done. For now I must go... I can sence by brother is close." Flicking his tail, Takar turned around and padded his way back out the same way he came.
