Tarak walked into the den and sat down on the hard compacted earth. He had a lot to say, and didn’t know were to begin. He looked from Ebony to Stealth, and back to Ebony again. “Well, as I said earlier I have talked to the ravens.” Tarak started off. “They didn’t have anything good to say at all. Some of what they said had to do with me, and the other parts, I believe you, Ebony will know what they mean.” Tarak cleared his throat and began the riddle, “It started with one, two, three! Replaying itself, it says. It's little! They are joining together! The size is not mattered! True, Your name half back wards, The one that likes the bald. When the two come together, Past will be reborn. Lies and slander, Hate from shells and sand and dust. It was death, Death, DEATH!
He is dead but his tyranny still continues. Pain is your ally and blood is not your friend. The past can get you no where, but the present is indeed a present!"
Your reflection, your reflection!”
Tarak finished and waited to see what Ebony would have to say.

Something that the Beta had said caused Ebony to stumble. She turned her steely gaze to Tarak, her blue eyes wider than normal. It was a reaction that she herself did not think she had. To others she may have looked as if she could not be surprised or caught off her guard. Yet at the moment she stood, hackles raised and posture rigid."Wh-what?" she murmured. Ebony shook her head to clear herself and then slunk over to Tarak. "You are sure they said that it started with three?" The Alpha was internally slapping herself. If she had known this detail then the hunt would have been canceled and she would have interrogated Tarak sooner. Ebony growled slightly under her breath. "This will certainly be a problem..."

Tarak growled under his breath as he replied, "Yes this will be a problem." He stood up, too restless to remian sitting. "It seems that the one thing we each feared most, and thought taken care of has come back to haunt us." Tarak said, anger bitting at his words. "Please tell me Ebony of what the crows riddle ment to you."

"Well... when they said "It's little", they could have meant that it was not a big problem, at least not right now. Perhaps maybe we are not being as perceptive as we can... has there been anyone suspicious in the pack... in other packs? What I do know are a few things, though, Tarak. When they said it started with three... it's not good, but that's how the packs started. But it was not a pleasant process. You know about the story, I hope?" The Alpha's eyes flashed toward Tarak for a split second before she continued to pace around her den.
"Death, lies, slander... the past... it all points to either a descendant of Fenris, or maybe a follower? It is for sure someone who wants a repeat of what happened hundreds of years ago. Most wolves think it's just a story to keep pups safe in the dens at night, but it's as real as the fur on your skin... I knew something was going to happen, even I told you this morning." Ebony began to ramble, her thoughts flowing out verbally. "What I don't get are the clues... Your name half back wards, or anything about the bald... what could the bald be? Pain is our ally..." Ebony growled in frustration.

Tarak growled deep in his throat. "I guess I should have known deep down Takar was going to find me one day." Tarak said, "Takar is my twin brother Ebony. When the crows said my name spelt half backwards, they were referring to him. What I do know for sure is that if Takar comes into contact with a descendant of Fenris, or followers, it won’t be good for anyone." Tarak paced around the den. "Takar is always blood thirsty and violent. He enjoys the sufferings of others." Shaking his head Tarak glared at Ebony. "I have to go stop him before he comes in contact with anyone from the other packs Ebony. He alone could be as evil as Fenris."
"When the crows said It's little could they also be meaning that the group of supporters are small? Maybe we still have time to stop what has already started." Tarak paced around some more, anxious to do something. "I can't fathom what they meant by the one who likes the bald, but it can't be good either."

"The bald meadow," she said immediately, "It has to be the place where he lives, our unknown descendant or even perhaps your brother. Do you know where Takar is?" Ebony stopped her pacing and sat. "We will need to send out patrols around the border, and we need to get the word out to the other packs."
(Uhg, Sorry for the shortness. My muse is horrible today.))

"Yes! the bald meadow. That is where Takar would probably head first to get information. I hope were not to late." Tarak walked out of the den. "would you like me to stop by the other packs on the way Ebony? I think you should stay here to support the pack, they will be nervous when they learn of what we know." Tarak said concerned as he watched as two yearling pups play. "I really do hope that prophecy does not come to pass."

The Alpha nodded her head, following Tarak's gaze to the pups. "Yes, that idea would be best. I will stay and inform the pack and will keep order if necessary." Ebony looked back to Tarak, her eyes heavy with some unknown emotion.
"Yes, Tarak. I to do not wish for this trouble to come, but I have a feeling that we are already too late..." She sat down into the soft earth beneath her and sighed. "Go now and warn the others. We are short on time."

Tarak trotted ahead, ready to leave and turned back to Ebony. "Don't loose hope Ebony. I will do everything in my power to stop Takar and what is to come." Tarak paused for a moment, looking down at his feet. "If I do not come back within three nights, consider me dead. I don't think that will come to pass Ebony, but the shadows are growing thicker. I will be back tomorrow if all goes well." Tarak turned around and ran into the forest, heading to the bald meadow in hopes to find traces of Takar and put and end to his brother.
