She strolled into the den and dumped her half fish down onto the rock floor and stretched out "Ohhh, that feels good" She barked. She soon assumed her normal standing possition and looked around, no Kohsai to be seen. She shrugged, the femme could look after hersef, she knew if Kohsai did get into any trouble she'd howl. She sat down and consumed the remainder of the fish in three swift bites, she had already pulled out all the bones there was no mess left. She hated the den getting messy.

Riuk padded in after Serenity, fish in maw as she trotted up next to her Alpha. Her bushy tail wagged behind her with her pride from her successful catch. She had never fished before, and it certainly was an eventful experience.
"Dish ish yer den?" the femme said between her mouthful, looking around eagerly. She of course had a den once, but never one of this perportion. It had used to be an old fox hole which she had squeezed into during earlier winters. It certainly was a change for Riuk, being in one of this size.
Riuk dropped her fish onto the cold ground and sat onto her haunches, tail thumping the ground with a soft rthyme. She looked to Serenity, and then her fish. "So, do you eat around the bones, or what?" she asked, tilting her head and looking back at her catch.
((No problem. Mine isn't that big either. =P ))

She sat down as Riuk caught up with her "Dish ish yer den?" She nooded and spoke in reply "Yes this is my den, the dens of the Amithyst pack, anyone in my pack sleeps and lives here" She informed the dark femme. It was certainly large enough for the pack at the moment but could probably support at least 10 to 15 more. She couldn't imagine what the pack would be like with many members under her command, would there be order or chaos?
Seren chuckled at Riuk's question "No way, just eat the flesh, never ever eat bones of something unless you are on the vurge of starving. Bones can break the older wolfs teeth or get lodged in your neck. I have heard of wolves dying when eating bones, cough up blood and stuff, I'd rather it not happen to you" She explained. She had never seen one die from getting a bone lodged in their throats and she never wanted to.

Riuk's face twisted into a look of horror at Seren's explanation, and looked to her fish as if it where the devil itself. Now she wasn't sure if she even wanted to eat it, thinking she may get a stray bone into her throat. After a second of further thought, she decided to chance it, but to be careful as she ate. The Fae laid down onto the cold earth and gripped the fish between her forepaws. It really wouldn't be good to have it flopping all over the place as she tried to eat.
Riuk gnawed at the head, trying to remove the unsightly thing. She eventually did and she ripped a piece from her catch. Her tail wagged in satisfaction. "This is great!" she said before going in for another bite.
((Asking would be a good idea.))

Seren shook her head at Riuk's expression after she explained about fish bones "It's okay Riuk! Really, you just have to be careful. Fish bones are smaller in a fish and so far easier to miss than in a normal animal. Fish is a good thing to be able to catch, particularly if you end up on your own" She reassured the femme. Her tail wagged a little when she said it was great, she was glad the femme liked fish it was a nice refreshing thing to snack on.
She led down opposite Riuk and let her eat another bite before speaking "Ummm... Riuk? You know you were like, the first other wolf here that wasn't already in a pack? Well I wasn just wondering if... You would be my Beta? It's allot of responsibility but I think you are up to it." She asked, a little nervous. She didn't want to be told something like Riuk never wanted to be in the pack anyway and have her leave it would be rather embarrassing. All Seren wanted was for Riuk to stay, if she wanted a lower rank that would be fine too but Seren would need a Beta.

As Serenity addressed her, Riuk looked to the Alpha with perked ears and head slightly tilted. It made her look rather puppy-ish, but Riuk tended to act like one most of the time. Her smiled grew wide and her tail thumped rather loudly on the stone floor. "I'd love to!" she barked, her voice going up a few octaves. "Beta! What an honor!" she said with excitement, standing up because she couldn't stay still at the moment. "You really think I can do it? Be Beta I mean. Of course I will if you want me to, but I guess you do since you just asked me. This is wonderful! I'll be... in charge in a way, huh? Second in command!" Riuk rambled. She never really ran out of something to say. "Yes! I will!" she said again, pawing the ground with her restless feet. Her body wiggled again, like her tail wag was to powerful to contain.

Serenity frowned at Riuk's reaction but it soon vanished, it was good news, she could get exited if she wanted. Seren was far too mature for her age, she was practically a Grey. She sighed, wishing she could be as care free as Riuk. She wished she could get exited over something or act like a pup but it just wasn't in her. Particularly not now, she was tired and bored. She wished there were more members in the pack, she wanted a family, a big one, filled with wolves of all shapes and sizes.
She yawned "I think you would be a great Beta but try not to act too pup like when ordering others around, they may challenge your position!" She warned 'Gee, I'm so grumpy.' She thought. She needed a nap before she ripped someones head off.. Since Riuk was the only one here it would be her.
She stretched out "I'm having a Nap okay Riuk, feel free to do... stuff, you can patrol the borders if you like, see if you can pick up any rouges." Seren mumbled before putting her head down and shutting her eyes. She was only having a short nap, after that she would have to go hunting again for something a little larger than a fish, maybe deer.

Riuk stopped and put on a serious expression. She was right, no more acting like a puppy! Atleast... not as much... She smiled though. "Of course! I'll go patrol." she said and practically danced out of the den. She was eager to begin her days as Alpha, and wanted to prove to Serenity that she could be the greatest Beta am Alpha could have. So with quick strides, Riuk ran until she reached what she supposed was the border, freshly marking the trees before she continued. She kept her eyes and ears open for any other wolves, just as Serenity had said to do.

The white femme stirred in her sleep, she was warm and cosy but this was never ment to last. 'My name is Rie and I come from distant lands with a packmate. I wish to meet you, Serenity' She groaned and opened her eyes, she blinked a few times to rid the sleep from them. She stood up and looked around. Riuk still wasn't back, maybe she was with the wolves that howled. She was ment to be looking after the borders after all. She sighed, she couldn't know for a fact if Riuk was doing her job and Rie asked for her specificly so she would have to go. She would have to finish her nap later. She then left the den to see the visitors.
