The stench of Death [o]

[Ruedi]

Soon after the Thyme had been swallowed, he let out a snort, feeling now that it was safe to release her, or so he had hoped. "Finally..." he closed his eyes with a relieving sigh and climbed off of Sirra to let her stand. His tongue loled out of his mouth as he panted, now turning his back to everyone thinking his duty has been finsihed, he began to walk off and finish the beatuiful summer day. The sun shined bright through the trees leaving leafy shadows as they hit the ground. The wolf's black lips formed somewhat of a smile, knowing that he had saved one life, no two lives. Good thing he didn't snap her neck while he still could if this matter had not been resolved. He stopped, looked back at the two faes incase a word had to be said.

[Riuk]

Riuk sat as she watched her friend slowly dissipate into sleep. She looked peaceful, but at the same time she looked as if she were dying. Though had it not been said that death was a cruel kind of peace? Perhaps, or maybe it was the total opposite. No one would know until their black dreams actually fell upon them. Riuk looked up at the wolf that now began to walk away.

Wait, walk away? He helped her through all of that, and he was just going to walk away? Riuk sighed, watching his retreating figure. She had hoped that maybe he would be joining the Amythist pack. The northern pack of wolves was certainly without many members. Not only that, but they had no leader as well. It was Riuk's duty to be leader after the Alpha was gone, but not only was Riuk not ready, but she was also not the leader type.

The male looked back at her, adn their eyes met for a brief moment before words were spoken. "Thank you," she said.

[Ruedi]

The gray male chuckled and smiled, turning to walk back to Riuk and the female who was now peacefully sleeping. She wasn't confident in her self and Ruedi could see it as their eyes met. "Now, what troubles you?" Ruedi said with care as he sat beside her, and for some reason this had made him feel happy. It felt good to be with another female after long weeks of traveling.

[Riuk]

Watched as the wolf turned and came back, chuckling slightly. Now, she wondered, how was she able to make him laugh? Was she laughing at her discomfort? And here she thought that he was a kind male. He then came and sat next to her, and his expression softened. Perhaps he was just laughing at the absurdity of everything. Riuk would be laughing as well if she weren't so used to living like this.

"Now, what troubles you?" he asked softly. RIuk sighed and looked to her paws, her eyes slightly on the sleeping Sirra.

"I'm.. just afraid.." she murmured. Yeah, she knew. How could a Beta be afraid? Well, she certainly wasn't Beta material, there just happened to barely be any wolves to try and take the spot from her. "Sirra is the only one left in our pack besides myself. If she doesn't wake up...." then the Amithyst pack will be lost forever, and the other evil tyrants would win. After hundreds of years, they will finally win and wipe out all of the other packs from the forest, just like Fenris had intended in the very beginning.

[Ruedi]

"Well..I'm just afraid"

Ruedi watched as Riuk had looked down at her paws, and frowned after she had let out a sigh. She was upset and he could feel it. "Well, don't be, the wolf replied, his smile returning as if there wasn't a care in the world,"I bet there are worse things that could happen, and hopefully I'm not speaking to soon." Infact, he was, he was still unaware of the troubles around these foresaken pack lands that would soon once again come to the rule of Fenris. Ofcourse he's heard of that big brute, and all of his 'evil.'

Sirra is the only one left in our pack besides myself.

This words made him feel bad. Just two wolves in a pack well, it isn't exactly a pack at all. He thought for a moment. Well, maybe it wouldn't hurt if I changed my mind about joining the black females pack, Shinook. Ruedi spoke again to Riuk, hoping his words would enlighten her day. "What if...what if I were to join your pack? Where is your Alpha? Your Alphess?"

[Riuk]

Riuk felt a type of happiness as the male offered to join the pack, but that happiness was short lived. "We don't have an Alpha, it's just me and Sirra. I was the Beta and she was the Healer. We have all been picked off one by one. I'm afraid that we will be next." Though, if he were to join, perhaps they could search for more wolves to join them, and together they could fight back.

And then her face became stone, and her mind was made up. She would fight back. She would no longer sit back and watch as her friends died one by one. She would no longer allow it. She looked to the male, her blue eyes hard. "If you join us, there will be no going back. We will fight the relatives of Fenris."

[blunt]

Quietly Blunt had entered the pack grounds of Amithyst. His black coat shined in the sunlight but that would not last long after the assasination . His long legs which had made him seem and sound so quiet continued to pursue. He knew what he was supposed to do, and it put a smile on his face, but what he also knew was that he had to keep calm... For now atleast. Soon, Blunt had exited some bushes and spotted the three wolves that stood/lay infront of him. Two females and one male.

"Hmm hmm hmm," chuckled the wolf as he entered the scene, "I must say, I'm a little disappointed...I'd thought there'd be more of you, but atleast there's a female among our midst. I will have GREAT pleasure taking your life..." He had paid little mind to the male, for he enjoyed killing the females first... and perhaps maybe having his way with them as well.

[Riuk]

Before Ruedi could even respond to her words, a large, black brute stepped out from the shadows. There was a wicked grin on his face, baring his sharp, white teeth.

"I must say, I'm a little disappointed...I'd thought there'd be more of you, but atleast there's a female among our midst. I will have GREAT pleasure taking your life..." he said, staring at Riuk herself. She gasped and took a few hesitant steps backwards. Her heart beat quickened, beating as fast as a hummingbird's wings. Her blue eyes roamed over him, and after a moment of observation, she decided that she did not recognize this male. Therefor, he had to be one of the bad guys. She looked to Ruedi beside her, abut then her eyes soon returned to the enemy in front. She swallowed loudly.

[blunt]

Brute took a few steps closer as the she-wolf backed away, his mouth filling with drool that soon had dropped from his maw. "Don't fret little pretty one, it will only take a minute...or longer" He saw the terror in her eyes as he approached closer and closer, which had made him grin more, he loved it! "I wish I didn't have to kill you, I bet we'd have great chemistry together" he licked his black chops as the drool had hit the ground, his teeth baring with delight and his hackles began to raise. He was ready to kill her and the other two. Blunt stepped even more closer and cornered her, now there was no escape from his evil grasp.

But before the terrorfying male could place one fang on Riuk, a sharp feeling pierced his rear leg. It was Ruedi defending Riuk from a certain death. "You so much as touch her or lay a single claw on her, I will rip your throat out!" The gray male snarled and bit down harder, causing Blunt to yelp and twist his head around to bite down on Ruedi, tearing him off leaving a gash in his leg.

"You little mutt, I will kill you slowly after I slaughter her!" He burst out laughing, now he was angry.

[Riuk]

Riuk couldn't believe what was happening. She thought that she would have more time, more of a span to get together more wolves before they could attack. But now, when the tiem had come, she was frozen to the spot. Had she just been talking big, but didn't really have the heart to follow through? Was she going to continue to sit there and watch as everyone was killed?

The black wolf howled with pain as Ruedi attacked, sinking his fangs into Blunt's leg. Again, Riuk was the last to move, the last to attack as someone who wasn't even in her pack attacked for her. What is wrong with you, she scolded herself. Her hackles raised, her teeth began to be bared, and a vicious growl erupted from her throat. No, she was Beta of Amithyst, she would not sit by and watch her pack be slaughtered. She would fight. Riuk jumped, biting into anything she could a get a hold of. She shook her head, ripping out black fur and tasting blood.

[blunt]

Suddenly more fangs had plungered into Blunts flesh, tearing fur off, letting blood fall. He snarled, yelping, it had kind of made him sound like a fool. "Bad idea you ignorant whelp!"He smashed his canines into the wolfs back (I have no idea where she is biting him), they sunk in deep as he tried tearing her off of him which resulted in more wounds...more blood to be lost. "You'll pay for that! I will show NO MERCY!" the male yelled at the top of his lungs. Blunt threw her off of him, and threw her on the ground, now tearing out his own fangs from her back, he also took some fur, holding her, making sure she would not beable to get up unless she applied great force to push him off. His neck was volnerable to her now, which was probably bad. He tore at her ears, and bit at her face. The air was filled with the sounds of blood-thirsty snarls as the two wolves fought.

[Riuk]

Riuk wasn't a skilled fighter, she didn't know much beyond the basics. She probably should have done something about that before, but now it was too late as he overpowered her, tearing into her throat and ripping into flesh. Riuk cried out in pain, her back legs clawing at his exposed underbelly. She could feel her blood pouring out in waves, and her vision began to grow fuzzy and black spots floated before her.

"No," she tried to gasp, but the only thing that came out was a gurgled sigh. She had managed to claw at his face a few times, and one of his ears was ripped to shreds. However, Blunt seemed to be doing more damage to her more than anything. She wanted to help, to kill anything the threatened her pack, but now it seemed as if everything she had done was just talk, and that she would never have the power to actually follow through.

[blunt]

Ruedi couldn't believe what was happening, this day was just crazy. First he had to keep a rabid wolf down from killing the two of them, and now a black wolf was trying to kill them all! Was this what the wolves were worried about? Being killed off one by one? He watched as Blunt had taken down Riuk, tearing at her, slaughtering her...it angered him. His fur bristled up his tail had risen, and his fangs were bared. He charged, tackling the brute down and as he landing onto his back, Ruedi stood over top of him, their jaws locking at snapping at eachother. He wasn't the fighting type, he only fought when it was necessary... and at this moment, it was.

Blunt now had more wounds, his ear was torn to shreds, and his underbelly had multiple claw marks from the she-wolf's struggle to get out from under him. As Ruedi had snapped at his neck, he used his back legs, pushing the male off. Thankfully for Blunt, in one quick yelp, he knew Ruedi's head must of hit something, which had knocked him out, but probably only for a few minutes. He snorted looking back at Riuk with his fangs still bared. "Let's...finish this..."

[Riuk]

RIuk bled heavily as she stood, her legs trembling from under her. Her usually soft, beautiful, reddish fur was now matted with an even deeper crimson. However, it was not only her blood, which was a good thing. Blood oozed to the ground, dripping from between her teeth and throat. She stumbled, catching herself before she could fall to the ground. Her eyes were half hooded and her pants were loud and forced.

"Let's...finish this..." the wolf had said. Riuk didn't reply, for she looked exhausted and half alive. Red painted legs stepped forward and Riuk proceeded to advance. She no longer feared the pain that the wolf could inflict, because she was now determined to end him, or die trying.

[blunt]

"What's this? he asked in a sort of bewildered sarcasm tone, "Fighting back, now, fae?" Blunt began to chuckle. Blood dripped from his mouth and his wounds. Riuk wasn't the only wolf there loosing blood, it as him aswell, and he knew he was going to probably die soon. He couldn't now, he had to finish the job. The black shadow charged forward, his jaws wide open, and ready to collide and end this once and for all.
