Kurl groaned out loud this time, "Will you stop saying we're this so called 'evil'! Cannot you see that this Lobo is half out of his witts? I'm trying to convince you to the 'good' side. So you willn't get threatened or endangered by these--scums." Kurl said with care and then sighed, looking Lobo up and down, studying the figure, "For maybe you're both crazy. This coyote is also a loner. I cannot see how you could trust it. For I'm not the one who fills the young minds with lies." His voice stayed calm, but a little heavy as his gaze intended to Crag. "Call me Kurl, and yes, a spawn to the noble Fernis. And gladly not to this half-breed whom has lost his sanity. You know nothing true about Fernis. Wolf, just look at his smile, hear his laugh. Don't trust him. You're only becoming his pawn by falling into his deep trap you can possibly never get out of." Kurl raised a lip, and then was done. Disappointment hung on his face as he still tried to lour the wolf, "Another innocent wolf lost to the wolves-gone-mad." his voice was still smooth as he eyed Lobo now, his coyote figure, and that wide grin. Kurl cursed that this wolf had even dared to face him. Kurl was a large wolf for his species, and his quaint look made him ever the more feared.

He listened as Kurl said, Another innocent wolf lost to the wolves-gone-mad. He gritted his teeth together and closed his eyes. When he opened them he stated "Maybe Lobo's crazy... But maybe I'm crazy! Maybe you're crazy to! MAYBE EVERYONE'S CRAZY! Life is crazy! I hate craziness! I hate life! ARGH!" He fell to the ground shaking. "But... If we're all crazy then there is no crazy... Oh yes, I hope we're all crazy." He stood breathing heavily. He looked around with his green eyes. The wind was rippling his black fur; the sun making it appear a dark blue. "I don't know who to trust..."

"Coyote" That word...that creature...was half of him. It sickened him and how the word had slipped out of curls mouth angered him. His blood began to boil, his fangs shoved through his black lips and he let out a snarl. "Is being part coyote being just as bad as you cynics? He hated being called a coyote, and worst of all, Kurl had also included 'it.' He watched as Kurl had studied and towered over him. Kurl's yellow eyes seemed calm, but almost threatening. What was hiding beneath those eyes?
Lobo turned his head to look at Crag, then smiled listening to his statement, but hearing him admitting he didn't know who to trust anymore, his insane smile had gone away. "You trust whome ever you think is being true. Follow what your mind, your hear and what your spirit tells you...and besides, to conclude your statement, we're all mad here." He laughed silently again, now looking back at the large black male. "And if you are to trust him, Crag, he's going to have to be a lot more convincing..." Lobo laughed a bit more and sat.

He stood up straight as he heard what Lobo said. "You're right Lobo. I trust you. he announced looking to Lobo. "You're my only friend unlike this liar." He turned to face Kurl and snarled, "So, how many innocent wolves have you killed? Well how many have you slaughtered you murderer?" He glared at him with his teeth bared.

Kurl just left on his solid face, as the commotion started to begin. He let it end and didn’t care to interrupt as he kept his eyes on Crag. That was his name. Then, once they stopped talking, Kurl just shrugged, it wasn’t like he cared for the safety of this puny wolf, “Your own indecisiveness could lead to the end of you Crag, and no means by me. I have not killed a meaningful soul in my life, but I’m sure your ‘friend’ here may have.” Then he took a strong gaze at Lobo, “For I think it was your convincing words that drove that white she-wolf fanatical. She could get herself into some deep trouble because of you. Poor Soul.” Kurl looked down and shook his head as if feeling sorry for it.
“Well Crag, it is your decision. All I’m doing is just trying to keep you safe, and trying to lead you into a healthy life in a loving pack. Perhaps I was too late to save you. I’ll give you a moon to decide. We shall meet again Crag.” That’s when the stone face smiled, and it was quite curious. Not matching his eyes at all. As if it were a theatrical face and Krul turned his tail. “You’ll be wishing you’d come to join me one day. I know it. The moment when Lobo’s fangs reach your throat.” And then, in just the way he came, he left. Like an apparition.

He watched Kurl leave feeling relieved. He had almost joined those evil wolves. He shuddered at the thought. And worse he almost believed his friend was insane... Well he was, but he almost doubted him. He growled under his breath. He would never let something like that happen again. "Thanks for everything Lobo," he said turning towards him, "If you hadn't come I would have believed that wolf. You've re-opened my eyes." He shuddered when he remembered what Kurl said, "I’ll give you a moon to decide. We shall meet again Crag." His breath caught in his throat, this wasn't over. He let out his breath. He already had his answer ready.

Lobo gave a snort and growled as Kurl had left shaking his head. Then thought about his words. "For I think it was your convincing words that drove that white she-wolf fanatical. She could get herself into some deep trouble because of you. Poor Soul." Could this be true? No... he thought growling then bared his fangs again then snapping at the air as Kurl had left. The back of his neck bristled up and he just stood, his eyes now focusing on Crag as he had thanked him for being there. He nodded.
Lobo had soon calmed and looked down at the ground. One side wanted to believe the large black male, and one side wanted to tear him apart. Split personalitys were setting in. For Crag wasn't the only one who didn't know what to believe or trust, Lobo himself didn't know what to believe either. Kurls words were convincing and he didn't want to admit it. "You decide for your self, Crag, you choose, I won't force you into believing my words...he is right...you've only just met me. And listen to me, if you do choose to join him, you'd better watch yourself...For you will not beable to trust me as your friend anylonger." His face was serious, his insanity would cause him to kill or be killed. Even destroy the life of a friend.

He looked at Lobo as his friend spoke, "You decide for your self, Crag, you choose, I won't force you into believing my words...he is right...you've only just met me. And listen to me, if you do choose to join him, you'd better watch yourself...For you will not be able to trust me as your friend any longer." He nodded his head. "I'm not joining him Lobo. You're not forcing me to believe you. I just trust you... I don't know why. And when that wolf 'Kurl' said it was you who ruined a white wolfs life, well, I'm sure that wasn't true. I know how convincing he can be. He want's you to be angry with yourself. He want's you to doubt yourself. He wants to strike you down before you can cause damage. He's afraid of us, Lobo. He's afraid because we know the truth, but we mustn't let him keep the truth from spreading. The wolves of this land have a right to know. Well, that horrid wolf said we'd meet again so i'm going to get some rest."

Somewhere in the wind a haunted scent returned from the Earths core and gently swerved around the two wolf bodies carrying the familiar scent of one lost just that day. Then as lightly as it came; it left.

Lobo smiled at Crags words, this made him feel better. He was glad that Crag would stay with him, even knowing that his only friend was losing himself. Lobo gently layed onto the cold forest floor, now was the time to rest. "Thank you Crag. And win the time comes for you to tell that male what your decision is, I won't be coming with you unless you really need me. If he attacks you, you howl, and I will tear that wolf apart even if it kills me." The coy let out a brief sigh and rested his small head, flattening his ears against his skull. A soft breeze had set in his the night began to cover the sky with little balls of light. With the breeze carried a familiar scent; it had to be Yuluku. This sent chills up his spine, and it was cold. That could've only ment one thing. She was gone, but somehow still with him, or so he had hoped. A soft whine was let out and Lobo had closed his eyes, trying to stop the tears. Again another friend was gone.

Crag listened as Lobo told him that if Kurl attacked him he could just howl. He knew that if the wolf decided to attack Crag would be dead by the Lobo got there anyway, but it was still a comforting thought. A chilling breeze rippled his fur and floating in the air was the scent of a wolf. He didn't know who it was, but he could tell, by Lobo's sigh, that it was someone Lobo knew. He turned in a circle a few times before curling up in the make-shift bed. He shivered slightly at the thought of facing Kurl alone, but he knew he had to do. He needed to stand up to his enemy without his friend, Lobo, being there to defend him. He suddenly realized who the scent belonged to, the white wolf Kurl had mentioned. "Remember, Lobo, It wasn't your fault. That wolf, that beast, is a liar, and all liars die."
