Jumping off once the doe was slowing down for the brute didn't know which side the doe was going to land on, it was better safe than sorry, besides, the Alpha can look after herself she knew it. His tail slowly wagged behind him as the doe finally welcomed death and trotted towards the kill site. Lifting his muzzle, he howled for the successful hunt before quitening down, licking his chops in hunger as he waited for the femme to tuck in first then the beta before he could. Ebony stood, licking the blood from her maw. The buzz in the back of her head began to fade now that the cow was dead. It was then that her Beta spoke, and she was reminded of the ravens. They needed to hurry so that they could speak of the riddled matter before sundown. The cold air seemed to be even to chill for the blazing sun above, so in the winter it retired earlier than normal to leave the silver moon to rule the sky.
The Alpha lowered herself to the doe and began to eat, quickly and vigorously, tearing strips of meat from the bone and swallowing without taste. After the rest of the group ate their fill, they would take back to the camp what they could carry for the rest of the pack. Ebony rose, already finished with her portion. "Hurry up," she barked. "We need to be back before twilight."

Tarak dug in after the alpha was finished. Tearing chunks of meat off the hide in strips; He hardly paused to chew. Tarak signalled to Stealth that he could join him, and moved to give him room. Tarak could eat pounds of meat, and slowly over many days digest it. Because of this, it meant hunts only needed to happen about once a week.
Tarak left the fawn untouched. It would be easier to bring back to the den site for the rest of the pack. Finishing his meal, he walked away and sat down, licking the blood off his muzzle.

At the Alpha's bark, he ate his fill quickly, a sickly feeling rose in his torso, as if the air was squeezed in his chest as a hiccup rose and fell continously. He would be embarassed if more improtant issues wern't to be addressed, but there were and so he stepped back from their kill and awaited for next instructions.

Ebony nodded her head toward the fawn, her eyes flashing to her Beta. "Tarak, take the fawn. The rest of you get what you can carry," she said before crouching down and sinking her teeth into what remained of the cow. She tore at the hard hide, ripping the leg and pulling the bone from it's socket. The meat was still warm, and it caused her mouth to water as it sat on her tongue. She watched with borrowed patience as the rest of the pack began to dismember the cow. Soon, most of the doe was being held in her pack's jaws. With a jerk of her head she turned, leading the way back to camp.
